Work & Skills Wise

Work & Skills Wise is a free service to help and support our tenants of all ages into work, education or training.  Our Work and Skills Wise Team provides jargon free, friendly and unbiased support and the programme is tailored to suit the needs of each individual.

Work and Skills Wise provides:

One to One Support: Providing job seeking advice, help with your CV, developing interview techniques.

Learning Opportunities: We have a bursary fund available to help with course fees, course materials and self employment equipment.

Volunteering Opportunities: We can arrange a placement for you to gain experience in your preferred area of employment. We will support you through your placement and travel costs will be paid to you.

Job Seeking Skills Programme: An intensive programme of one day a week for a period of six weeks to help you get work ready including CV writing, interview techniques and support with your job search.

Computers in the Community: Provides free laptop loans which you can use in the comfort of your own home.
