MHA operates the Welsh Assembly Government’s Homebuy scheme, which is a form of Low Cost Home Ownership (LCHO).
This means new homes we build or purchase from developers can be sold on a much more affordable basis by MHA.
The scheme is available to some existing tenants of MHA, who may be able to purchase the home they are currently living in, if it was built after 2008. It is also available to someone who has no previous relationship with MHA. New build properties are in high demand and Homebuy opportunities are usually snapped up very quickly. You must register on the Homesearch website and after this we suggest that you log-in weekly to see all the available Homebuy property adverts. You can then express your interest in a property by pressing the ‘bid’ button on the advert.
