The Passport 2 Beauty Project

Four Monmouthshire Housing Tenants have now passed their Passport to Beauty training course and are now qualified mobile beauticians.

Emma, Sara, Elaine and Sophie started the MHA funded course back in September and completed a 12 week course in beauty. The course also included Business Support Workshops to ensure that the girls would be able to set up and maintain their own business once qualified.

As part of the funding MHA also equipped the girls with their first beauty kit to ensure they would be able to start trading immediately. One of their first events included making MHA staff beautiful for their Christmas Party. It was a fun day and everyone who had manicures; pedicures and a spray tans were very impressed with their work.
