Monmouthshire Housing Association are celebrating after not one, but two members of staff made the top 10 of 24 Housing’s prestigious UK Young Leader Awards list. The award aims to find the brightest and best young talent in the housing sector, with finalists displaying the potential to be a strong leader.
Cath Murray, MHA’s Work & Skills Wise Advisor and Emma Gallo, MHA’s New Homes Officer have both made it in to the final ten candidates left in the competition. Cath and Emma will now head to the National Housing Federation’s Headquarters in London to try and grab a place in the final five of the competition.
John Keegan, Chief Executive said; “We are extremely delighted to be the only Housing Association in the UK to have two staff members make the top 10 and we are very proud of both Cath and Emma. They are both ambitious and are role models for their peers. They both have a can-do attitude and making it through to the semi-final stage is a testament of how hard they both work. Everyone at MHA is extremely proud of them and we wish them all the very best in the final.”
