I am struggling to pay my rent, what do I do?


We can help and support you if you are worried or finding it hard to keep up with your rent payments.  Please contact us immediately on 0345 677 2277 and ask to speak to your Income Officer to discuss your options.  Failure to pay your rent could result in legal action, but by working together we can make sure this is the last resort.


I need to book a repair, can this be done?


We are now logging non-urgent responsive repairs. If you have any outstanding repairs in your home or garden please contact MHA on 0345 677 2277. We will log the repair and review whether it can be carried out safely whilst abiding to social distancing of at least 2m. If the repair can be carried out safely we will be in touch to make an appointment.

Will engineers visiting my house be safe and social distance?

All our staff have the appropriate safety equipment and will be observing the government’s social distancing rules, to help us with this please give them space to work by going into another room. If you, or any member of your family are displaying COVID-19 symptoms please let us know and we can rearrange our visit for when you are well. Call 0345 677 277 to book a repair.

I am finding it difficult as I am on my own, is there help available?

We are here to help, if you would like to receive a weekly ‘how are you getting on’ call please let us know. Your wellbeing is a top priority for us. Contact us on 0345 677 2277 for more information.

My neighbours keep playing loud music, can I report this?

You can. If you have spoken to them to try and resolve the issue to no effect please contact us on 0345 677 2277 to report the behaviour. We will then assess the situation and take appropriate action.


I have been isolating in my home for weeks, when can I go out?


We don’t have all the answers, where we can we will relay in the information and guidance supplied to us by the Government – for more information about your personal circumstances please visit the Welsh Government website.

It’s so important to make sure that you look after yourself at the moment, we know it is hard, if you or someone you know would like to receive a weekly ‘how are you getting on’ call from us please let us know. We are here to help contact us anytime.

Anti-Social Behaviour

Remember to also be respectful to the people around you – your wellbeing can be very dependent on the wellbeing of those around you, we are all part of the same community and are in this together.
Anti-Social behaviour can include playing music loudly, to raised voices late at night. Please try and speak to your neighbour about your concerns if it is safe to do so, they may not realise they are being loud! If you need further advice or assistance please contact us on 0345 677 2277.

If the repair cannot be carried out safely it will remain on our repairs system and as the Welsh Government review Lockdown restrictions we will review whether these repairs are then safe to complete.
