Overview
Work is well underway on this small development of 8 affordable homes comprising 4 x 2 bed semi-detached houses and 4 x 1 bed apartments.
Two additional homes are also being constructed at nearby Brynteg Place, and form part of the same building contract.
The new homes will be built using timber frame construction and sustainable methods including solar panels and air source heat pumps and will achieve an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A.
The development replaces a block of flats and garages, behest with management and maintenance problems, that needed substantial investment and maintenance to bring up to Welsh Government’s sustainability standards.
