We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ang Erasmus as the new Chair of Community Voice, the group that represents the voices of our tenants and leaseholders.
Ang brings a wealth of experience from over 13 years in the housing industry, along with her work as a long-standing volunteer focused on neighbourhood safety and engagement. She’s passionate about ensuring that residents are genuinely involved in shaping our services and helping to create inclusive, supportive communities.
A strong advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), Ang believes that representation and openness are key to making meaningful change. She’s particularly keen to get stuck straight in and ensure there is diversity within the Community Voice panel.
Community Voice is a tenant-led group made up of volunteers who regularly meet to discuss current services, such as repairs and maintenance, customer communications, and anti-social behaviour policies. The volunteers ensure that tenants and leaseholders’ feedback directly improves and shapes our services.
Speaking on her appointment, Ang said:
I’m so excited to begin my new role as Chair of the Customer Voice Panel at Monmouth Housing Association. It’s a privilege to help champion tenant voices and work alongside such a dedicated community to make a real difference.
Michele Morgan, MHA’s Director of Housing added:
We are delighted to welcome Ang on board and we’re looking forward to seeing the great contributions she will make to the Community Voice group. With her expertise and experience, I have no doubt she will continue the incredible work the group is doing to ensure tenants and leaseholders voices are heard.
