Plas Mawr is in the centre of Usk and offers easy access to the local Post Office, supermarket, doctors, dentists and opticians meaning everything is close by and on your doorstep. Usk is situated less than ten miles from the M4 but feels a world away. A regular winner of Wales in Bloom, it hosts a colourful Open Gardens weekend in June and a county show in September. Usk also boasts a castle, a rural life museum, and a Town Trail which includes 28 sites of historic interest, all in this small picturesque town.

Usk gives locals and visitors the opportunity to take a refreshing riverside walk or enjoy the charming independent shops, tearooms and pubs situated off the towns square. There is also a Gardener’s Market, with lots of plants and other gardening products to buy.
