MHA and GAVO have joined hands for a third year in a row to bring you Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards 2025
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards (MVA) 2025, a collaborative celebration by Monmouthshire Housing Association (MHA) and Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO). This exciting event is the perfect opportunity to shine a light on the incredible contributions of our community’s unsung heroes and to enhance the recognition and appreciation of their selfless efforts.
MVA 2025 aims to celebrate the dedication and hard work of individuals and groups who make a positive impact in Monmouthshire. This year’s categories include:
- Best New Group – For the group or initiative under 2 years old that has shown great commitment in their local community
- Inspirational Young Person – For the person (under the age of 25) who is positively contributing to their local community
- Most Inspirational Journey – For the person or group whose volunteering journey to where they are now is truly inspirational to others
- Outstanding Contribution to MHA – For the MHA tenant who has demonstrated commitment and dedication in their volunteering role by helping others
- Business at the Heart of the Community – Recognising the business or enterprise that goes above and beyond to support their local community
- Environmental Award – This award honours those who go the extra mile to support their local environment. These champions lead initiatives that protect the planet and promote sustainability, including efforts to reduce food waste.
- Health and Wellbeing – Recognising those who make a difference to the physical and/or mental health of others
