Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards are back for a fourth year, celebrating the county’s community champions and unsung heroes.
To mark Volunteers’ Week, we are excited to announce the return of the Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards (MVA), delivered in partnership with GAVO, shining a spotlight on the incredible individuals and groups who make a difference across our communities.
MVA recognise and celebrate these local heroes whose time, compassion and dedication help communities thrive. From lending a helping hand to leading inspiring initiatives; volunteers are at the heart of Monmouthshire.
This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a range of categories designed to honour the many ways people give back.

A celebration of Community Spirit
If an inspiring person or project comes to mind when you read the categories, whether it’s a neighbour who quietly goes above and beyond, a volunteer who gives their time selflessly, or a group making a lasting impact, every nomination helps shine a light on the difference they make.
No act of volunteering is too small, every contribution matters!
