Introducing The Exchange – a new platform for MHA residents thumbnail

We’ve launched a new Facebook group, The Exchange, giving MHA residents a welcoming space to voice opinions, get involved in competitions and play an active role in shaping the future of MHA.

The Exchange is hosted by our Engagement Team and has been created with residents at its heart. During its development, we worked closely with a resident advisory group to test ideas, gather feedback and make sure the platform focuses on what really matters to the people who live in our communities.

To mark the launch of The Exchange, we’re hosting a series of informal events where residents can find out more about what the platform offers and how they can get involved.

As well as learning more about The Exchange, residents will have the opportunity to chat with different MHA teams and find out more about the wide range of services we provide.

Our first event took place in Abergavenny on Tuesday 21st April, where residents met members of our Support, Inclusion, New Homes, Neighbourhoods and Building Services Teams, as well as our Chief Executive, Gwyndaf Tobias.

Our next event will be held at Severn View Club in Caldicot on Wednesday 6th May, from 4-6pm. Residents are welcome to drop in at any time to say hello to our teams, take part in competitions and discover how they can get involved in The Exchange.

Our Engagement and Partnership Manager, Rachel Knight, said:

The Exchange is about creating open and honest conversations with residents. By involving residents from the very start, we’ve made sure the platform reflects what really matters to our communities and offers a simple, welcoming way to share views and get involved. The first event was brilliant, and we’d encourage anyone who’s interested in it to come along to the next one and say hello.

Getting involved in The Exchange is easy. There are two ways to join:
