MHA joined hundreds of people proud to take part in Abergavenny Pride on Sat 23 June, celebrating the LGBTQI+ community, and standing up against discrimination.

Held at St Mary’s Priory Centre and Tithe Barn, the parade was a sight to behold, with a sea of rainbow balloons, bunting and flags making it’s away happily across the heart of the town.

At MHA we know that to achieve our goals we must do everything we can to create an open and inclusive environment where differences are celebrated, our people feel supported and everyone is valued and respected, which is why supporting events such as Abergavenny Pride and holding our own staff Pride Party is important to us.

As well as taking part in the parade, it was a great opportunity to talk to people in the communities we support.  Our two stalls comprising our engagement, communications and iConnect teams had endless fun talking about our services, creating rainbow messages, taking Pride selfies and giving out Pride frisbies.

We are already looking forward to next year!
