Your rent is one of the most important payments you will need to make but we appreciate that your circumstances can change.

If you ever fall behind with your rent, don’t ignore it. We appreciate that it can be a difficult and stressful situation, but telling us first can be the first step in the right direction.

If you’re struggling to pay your rent, please contact us straight away via 0345 677 2277 or customerservices@monmouthshirehousing.co.uk. You can also use Live Chat or Facebook Messenger. Our experienced & supportive Income Team are here to help.

There are a number of different ways you can pay your rent. However, Direct Debit is the easiest and most convenient way of paying for tenants, and is also MHA’s preferred method and we encourage as many of our tenants as possible to pay this way.

Help with Universal Credit

Tenants receiving Working Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit (joint and single) will shortly be receiving a Migration Notice from the Department of Work and Pensions informing you that it is your time to move to Universal Credit (UC).
